Baby Planner, Parental Leave Kit
It’s the baby juggle... Baby. Finances. Baby. Sleep. Baby. Dirty Nappies. Baby. Child Care. Baby. Work. Baby
Maureen Frank’s Baby Planner – The Parental Leave Kit is a working woman’s guide to having a baby. This self-paced program will help you navigate a successful maternity leave journey – before you have your baby, whilst on leave and going back to work.
The program features friendly advice from nearly twenty leading Australian working mums – mums who have been fore-runners in returning to work, mums who have adopted children and maintained their careers, mums with special needs children and mums who can talk about how their children have turned out after being in care for most of their lives.
Plus you’ll receive expert guidance from successful businesswoman and single Mum to twin girls, Maureen Frank. Her girls, Georgia and Celine, are now ten years old and when she was less than one years of age Celine was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
Maureen Frank’s Baby Planner – The Parental Leave Kit will give you all the tips you need on what to plan, what to expect, how to negotiate maternity leave, how to communicate with those who need to know, how to keep yourself motivated and on top of everything you want, how to transition back to work as a happy and successful mother and park mother guilt to the side.
This comprehensive guide, includes two CDs, a workbook and a DVD.
Q. How does the format work?
A. The DVD features advice and tips from some of Australia’s most successful working mothers who are at the top of their game.
The CDs feature words of wisdom and practical strategies on how to overcome stress, guilt and lack of motivation from leading women’s empowerer, Maureen Frank, a former Telstra Business Woman of the Year and one of BRW’s Rising Stars.
The journal is full of practical tips, templates and checklists for busy working women about to embark on one of the biggest challenges of their career – having a baby!
Q. I’ve already had my baby – am I too late this program?
A. No, there’s lots of valuable info in here that will help you plan your return to work strategy and help you with that transition once you become a working mum. Plus, if you plan on having more children you might learn some things to help set you up better next time when you take maternity leave.
I think this is a highly valuable program and should be shared with as many women as possible.
How empowering it is to stop and consider what I want, write my objectives down and then develop strategies to go out and make it happen. In my case, thinking about something does not always lead to action.
I thought the content was excellent and the exercises very useful tools to reinforce the CDs.
I feel this program has given me a greater understanding of how to prepare for situations faced in life and the workplace. It is not only motivating but actually shows you the skills to grow stronger psychologically and maintain your focus.
